The Persian word for LOVE is Eshgh (عشق) etymologically related to Ashagheh (پیچک),the plant we know as bindweed. It starts to grow as a tiny sprout in close vicinity to a tree. After a while, however it attempts to wind around the tree stem, initially only to rise towards the light, but later more and more depriving the trees off its nutrients and its water. This way, the Ashagheh rips the three off all its nutrients and energy, and finally causing its cesation by a complete dehydration.
