The new year (2015) has officially been nominated as the “UNESCO International Year of Light”. What a good idea, has been my first reaction, since I also recognized in several instances the importance of light for our well-being.
I am sure there will be big cultural and social events to celebrate this, from fireworks over laser shows to moon-light parties. What I like to contribute is a Haiku, one of these extremely condensed forms of a Japanese poem. And here it is,
THE HAIKU OF LIGHT
